Pizza Corner Parent to add more concepts

GENEVA-based Global Franchise Architects (GFA), the parent company of Pizza Corner and Coffee World, has announced plans to bring its two other concepts - The Cream & Fudge Factory and New York Deli - to India. "The Cream & Fudge Factory will be launched by September '06 followed by New York Deli later this year," Anoop Sequeira CEO, GFA India, said.

GFA India, which contributes 50% to GFA's annual turnover, plans to launch 47 more outlets to the existing 53 Pizza Corner and Coffee World outlets by 2006-end, 80 will be Pizza Corner. Pizza Corner is currently present in Bangalore, Mysore, Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Hissar, Chennai, Pondicherry, Hyderabad and Vizag.

GFA is expanding through a combination of franchising and company-owned stores. It is present in Thailand, India, UAE, Reunion Island and Bangladesh. The company is eyeing to expand to 1,000 outlets by the end of 2010.
