THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The quick-service hospitality chain, Pizza Corner, has opened an outlet at Anna's Arcade in the Spencer Junction here. The 52-seat dine-in outlet offers a range of pizzas, soups, salads, appetisers, pastas, bakes, desserts and beverages.
The outlet takes orders on telephone (number 2573257) and delivers pizzas at the customer's doorstep by free express delivery within 40 minutes of the order being placed. Oberon Taste Buds is the franchisee.
The chain runs over 35 outlets in cities across the country, which include New Delhi, Chennai, Pondicherry, Bangalore, Mysore, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. It offers stringent quality standards, luxurious decor, service and cleanliness in tune with international norms. "Each pizza is hand-stretched from carefully matured fresh dough, topped with an exquisite pizza sauce made from imported vine-ripened tomatoes and seasoned with herbs from the Mediterranean region," says a press release.
The CEO, Pizza Corner India (P) Ltd, Anoop Sequeira, said the chain now enjoyed a special brand equity in Tndian cities, thanks to its stress on quality, consistency and the principle of giving the customer value for money. It was planned to increase the number of outlets to 60 by the year-end, with a major thrust on franchising.
