Pizza Corner's latest outlet at Bannerghatta road was inaugurated by students of SOS
WITH pizzas becoming a popular meal option, many pizza corners have mushroomed in the city Variety on the palette is what the elite always long for and pizzas have become very popular among school children and college goers. Several eat-outs are lining up to offer lipsmacking variety of pizzas now.
Fred Mouawad, the Chairman and CEO of Global Franchise Architects, launched the Pizza Corner in 1996. With 45 outlets in India and universal menu and pricing, Pizza Corner has come a long way in hospitality all over India. Pizza Corner India, a part of GFA, announced the launch of a new dine - in outlet at a prime location on Bannerghatta road on Wednesday. The new dine-in outlet, with a seating capacity of 40 to 160. provides a wide range of pizzas, soups, salads, appetizers, pastas, bakes, deserts and beverages.
The menu also includes the unique 'Desi pizza' which is made with Indian sauces and cheese and "sandwizzas" pizza corner's latest innovation. "The menu keeps changing once in every six months with new innovations, "informs Anoop Sequeira, CEO.
The corner has upgraded the look and feel of the outlet with a perfect blend of luxury and a vibrant feel. The friendly ambience has been kepp intact with the standard red and green colour used in baloons and interiors, standard wall surfaces, lampshades and wall colours. The striking and exclusive feature in the new outlet is the play area for children.
The operation is supported by the best software in the world, developed specially for pizza business. The pizza delivery system and outlets accept all major credit cards to allow the guests more flexibility and it rightfully boasts of being first to accept payments through credit cards on delivery in India.
Pizza Corner have set up restaurant in the three categories: Dine-in with proper dining facilities and play area for children, delivery outlets that take care of deliveries, with limited dining cacilities, and express outlets located at high traffic areas like shopping malls, highways, fuels stations, amusement parks, event centers.
Pizza Corner has been active towards corporate social responsibility and has linked their launches with some social cause. The new outlet was inaugurated by the Children of SOS, an NGO for child care working for orphans or single parent children in Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore. Games, pizzas, chocolates, ice creams and some sweet memories for the chidren was all part of the launch event.
Manish, a student of Class 4 and Sumanth, a student of Class 3 from the SOS, were very excited as they inaugurated the outlet and had a ball of time at the outlet with Radhika, a Ponds Femina Miss India 2006 contestant and winner of Tanishq Miss Congenial Personality, who was also present at the occasion. Radhika too had a gala time and gave away chocolates and goodies to the children.
SOS, an umbrella organisation founded by Dr Herman Gminor i. 1949 In Austria during the II World War, is different from other orphanages but are called "Children's Villages." There are 34 such villages all over India. The Bangalore Children's Village was started in 1990 and M.K. Lokesh is the village director, with over 250 children at SOS.
